ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) real estate

Italian oil and gas group ENI plans to sell its real estate assets to GOLDMAN SACHS for the sum of EUR 1.14 billion. The offer will be submitted to the Boards of each group for approval. WHITEHALL FUND, a GOLDMAN SACHS investment company, made the highest offer the portfolio up for sale. The operation includes the sale of the 90.16% stake held by ENI in the real estate company IMMOBILIARE METANOPOLI for the sum of EUR 623.9 million, a sum included in the EUR 1.14 billion offered.
