Brussels, 20/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has announced the adoption of a proposal aimed at establishing, on a clear legal basis, that hedgerows and other traditional features of the landscape, such as ditches and walls, may be considered as part of the agriculture area eligible for farm aid if, as a general rule, they are not wider than two metres.
