ASSOCIATED BRITISH FOOD is to sell its subsidiary BURTON'S BISCUITS to the American investment group HICKS, MUSE, TATE AND FURST for close to £130 million. BURTON'S BISCUITS has an annual turnover of £185 million and employs some 2,500 people.
