The Portuguese group BANCO FINANTIA has made a public bid for all the capital of the Spanish bank BANCO ESFINGE (net profits of 122 million pesetas in the first half of 2000 with 27 employees) at 1.66 euro a share, valuing the entity at 25.79 million euro.
