Fischler stresses essential importance of fishing activities, in context of review of common policy

Brussels, 27/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the end of the International Conference on the Control, Monitoring and Surveillance of fishing activities, European Commissioner Franz Fischler stressed the essential importance of control in the context of policy in this sector.
