Independent music companies (Impala) rejoice over abandoning of planned merger between EMI and Time Warner

Brussels, 09/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Independent Music Companies Association (Impala) favourably welcomed the abandoning of the planned merger between EMI and Time Warner, which withdrew their notifications with the Commission (see EUROPE of 6 October, p.15).
