ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) medical

The Swiss group SULZER announced the closing down of part of its activities so as to concentrate on its "medical technology" and "surfaces and materials" divisions. It also intends to sell off its "Infra", "Pumps", "Textile", Turbo" and "Burckhardt" divisions that employ in total 14,600 people and represent two thirds of its activities.
