ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) pharmaceuticals

In France, the laboratories PIERRE FABRE (turnover FF 7.3 billion in 1999) and BIOMERIEUX ALLIANCE (turnover FF 3.4 billion in 1999) are about to merge. If the operation is carried out, it would give rise to an entity representing FF 10.7 billion in turnover with more than 11,000 employed.
