01/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the request of the Mexican Embassy, we would specify that our title yesterday: "EU calls for respect of electoral choice" did not apply, as our readers will have understood from the EU declaration (bulletin 1 September, p.3), to the Mexican authorities but to those involved in the Chiapas conflict.
