The Japanese bank NOMUR has dropped out of the fight for the British water and electricity company HYDER that it had been fighting over since April with the American company WPD - WESTERN POWER DISTRIBUTION. WPD's final bid stood at a total of £565 million, or 365 pence a share. See EI of 5&6 June.
