Commission approves takeover of Heiploeg Shellfish International BV by UBS Capital BV in the fisheries sector

Brussels, 24/08/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has approved the takeover by CBS Capital BV of Heiploeg Shellfish International BV, Dutch firm present in fishing, processing and wholesale of seafood products. UBS Capital, Dutch subsidiary of the Swiss banking company UBS AG is mainly active in investment banking and asset management and is not present on the market concerned, except for a majority stake in Seafood Company, a company active in the wholesale of shrimps and...
