Klant report approves Directive on "family grouping"(but no progress made towards European immigration policy)

Brussels, 20/07/2000 (Agence Europe) - It is by 25 votes against 12 that the European Parliament's Freedoms and Citizen's Rights Committee adopted a report by the German MEP Ewa Klant (EPP-DE) on the Council's draft Directive concerning the right to family grouping for citizens of a third country.
