Brussels, 04/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - With its adoption of the report by Massimo Carraro (Italy, Democratici di Sinistra), the European Parliament issued its assent to the conclusion of seven bilateral agreements between the European Community and its Member States, on the one hand, and the Swiss Confederation on the other. The agreements concerns: - the free movement of persons, - air transport, - rail and road transport, - scientific and technical co-operation, - public procurement, - agricultural trade, - mutual recognition of market release procedures for certain products (machinery, toys, medical equipment, pressure equipment, motor vehicles, measuring instruments). All the agreements must enter into force together, because they make up a package.
