The German car manufacturer BMW has announced the failure of negotiations it was in with the venture-capital firm ALCHEMY over the takeover of ROVER. In that context, it has resumed negotiations with PHOENIX having initially rejected the offer of British consortium which it considered did not provide sufficient financial guarantees.
