Brussels, 03/05/2000 (Agence Europe) - As already reported in EUROPE (see 29 April, page 5), the Portuguese Presidency intends, at the "Gymnich-type" meeting on 6 and 7 May in San Miguel (Azores), to hold a very broad discussion -a brainstorming of sorts- on the future of the European Union, without going into detail on the issues being addressed by the IGC (see below).
