ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) security

The Danish firm FALCK has announced its merger with GROUP 4 SECURITAS, creating the world's second largest security services company. The new group, based in Copenhagen, will be named GROUP 4 FALCK and will have a workforce of 115,000 and activities in more than 50 countries. In 1999, the two groups had total turnover of more than DKK 15 billion.
