Brussels, 19/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - During its last meeting the Committee of high civil servants, Cost (European Cooperation in the area of scientific and technical research, gathering 32 countries including the 15 EU Member States) decided to launch six new actions during this year. These project relate to: (a) integrated assessment models of the interactions between aquatic flora and fauna, (b) the development of manufacturing technologies that respect the environment for the textile industry, (c) the industrial rearing of rabbits, (d) the study of the links between the implanting and development of SME and regional growth, (e) the diagnosis of tumours, (f) the strengthening of cooperation between European laboratories for chemical computation.
