19/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission approved the creation of a joint venture between the American investment fund Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co and the Australian company Zumtobel. The joint venture will combine the activities in the lighting sector of KKR British company, Zumtobel and the British group Wassall, active in the lighting and bottling sector. The Commission felt that the combined markets share remains relatively weak in a market subjected to strong competition.
