ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) chemicals

INTERVET CHINA BV, division of INTERVET, subsidiary of the Dutch-Swedish group AKZO NOBEL (consolidated turnover in 1999 of 12 bn euro, with 68,000 employees in 75 countries), specialised in the veterinary sector, has signed a joint-venture contract with SHANGHAI SONGJIANG BIOLOGICAL MEDICINES FACTORY to create a complex in Shanghai specialised in vaccines.
