Commission opened infringement proceedings against six Member States for incomplete or incorrect implementation of "numbering" Directive

Brussels, 29/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission opened infringement proceedings for incomplete or incorrect transposition into national law of Directive 98/61/EC on numbering, against Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and Finland. This decision, made last week, was formalised through the letters of formal notice sent this Wednesday. The Member States have one month to respond.
