Deutsche Bank may acquire Performance Polmers Division from Ciba

Brussels, 07/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the German Bank Deutsche bank to acquire "Performance Polymers Division" from Ciba speciality chemicals holding. It produces and sells polymer resins aimed, among others, at the space industry and electronics. The European services noted that deutsche bank and Division are not active in the same markets and that the operation would lead to no vertical or horizontal concentrations.
