Brussels, 07/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the CVC group which manages venture capital, to acquire the British company Sealing systems group (Invensys group) that produces rubber joints and tubes for motor vehicles. The European competition services feel that the activities of the two groups are complementary and do not lead to an increase in market share. Therefore the Commission has noted that the operation does not pose competition problems in Europe.
