European Commission presents proposals with operational timetable

Brussels, 28/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - European Commission President Romano Prodi forwarded on Monday to the President of the European Council, Antonio Guterres, and to the other Heads of State and Government of the Member Sates the Commission's contribution for the Lisbon Summit of 23 and 24 March. Entitled "An Agenda of Economic and Social Renewal for Europe", the document invites the Fifteen to take advantage of the excellent economic prospects in order to: a) continue economic reforms...
