ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) automotive equipment

The French equipment maker VALEO has signed a letter of intent with IRAN KHODRO and IRAN RADIATOR for the creation of a joint venture in Iran specialised in automotive air conditioning. VALEO will own 34%, IRAN RADIATOR 34% and SAPCO, a subsidiary of IRAN KHODRO, the remaining 32%. VALEO will have an option to raise its stake to 51%. This company is expected to have turnover of EUR 60 million within three years, with a workforce of 300.
