Mercosur Ministers insist that upcoming negotiations must cover all sectors, including agriculture

Brussels / Vilamoura, 24/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the EU/Mercosur/Chile/Bolivia ministerial meeting, on Wednesday in Vilamoura, Portugal, the Mercosur countries insisted that negotiation of a new association agreement with the EU must cover all sectors, including agriculture. These negotiations are due to begin on 5 April in Buenos Aires with Mercosur and on 10 April in Santiago with Chile.
