LAFARGE PEINTURES (French group LAFARGE) has bought 100% of the Italian company BALDINI (decorative paints; sales of ITL 63.5 billion in 1999 with 114 employees). With this acquisition, LAFARGE PEINTURES raises to nearly 13% its share in the decorative paints market in Italy.
