14/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - French Minister of Trade, Francois Huwart, announced on Thursday that France would submit proposals for institutional reforms of the World Trade Organisation at the beginning of its Presidency of the EU, in July 2000, says AFP. According to the same source, Mr. Huwart is to meet the Director of the WTO, Mike Moore on 25 January, and intends going on a round of European capitals and emerging countries in the coming months to find compromises on these reforms.
