LIBERTYSURF (turnover FF 120 million in 1999), joint venture between British KINGFISCHER and EUROP@WEB, Internet pole of French ARNAULT and leading French supplier of free access to the Internet, has acquired, for an undisclosed amount, British X-STREAM, the second largest British free Internet provider with 500,000 subscribers.
