Under pressure from shareholders, the US group WARNER LAMBERT, which had accepted an offer of merger with AHP - AMERICAN HOME PRODUCTS, has announced it is to examine the hostile public exchange offer from PFIZER. The latter is currently evaluated at $77.7 billion, whereas the AHP offer is now only worth $57 billion. See E.I. of 18 November.
