EIB loan for a hospital and university in Italy

Luxembourg, 07/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank has just granted two loans in Italy:

  • 51 million for the modernisation and restructuring of a public hospital in Padua. The EIB stipulates that this loan comes within the framework of a five year plan for modernising the hospital (1998-2002), Azienda Ospedaliera di Pavoda, especially the casualty and acute care sections. The loan is being granted through Cassa di Risparmio di Padova.
  • 62 million euro to contribute to the funding of the expansion and rehabilitation of the Politcnico university of Turin. The loan is being granted through the banking group San Paolo IMI.
