Italy only EU country to have ratified Tribunal' statute

Brussels, 05/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - Olivier Dupuis MEP, elected on the Bonino List, notes in a press release that, whereas all fifteen members of the EU signed the statute of the future International Criminal Tribunal to judge crimes of genocide and against humanity, only Italy has already ratified it, and that only France, Germany and Belgium have "entered the final phase of the ratification process", whereas news concerning the other eleven members of the Union "is not very precise, not...
