04/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - President Clinton has decided to reappoint Alan Greenspan as president of the Federal Reserve (FED) for a four-year period. Mr Greenspan, aged 73, was first appointed by President Reagan in 1987 and then re-appointed twice to the job first by President Bush and then by President Clinton.
