Danish Social-Democrat politicians call for referendum on joining Euro before conclusion of IGC

Copenhagen, 04/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - Former Social-Democrat Minister Karl Hjortnaes and the leader of the Young Danish Social-Democrats Morten Boedskov state in an article published by the Party's daily "Aktuelt" (and quoted by Reuters) that a referendum on Denmark's joining the Euro would have to be held "in any case no later than September this year".
