04/01/2000 (Agence Europe) - MEP Emma Bonino, former EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, has declared that her successor in Brussels, Mr Poul Nielson, should have found the time to go to Grozny personally, on behalf of the European Union. It is true that political Europe does not yet exist, but humanitarian Europe does, said Mrs Bonino, who deplored the fact that it is not sufficiently obvious though its presence is significant.
