Ministers to focus on securing supplies and coordinated European response at extraordinary informal meeting

During an informal meeting organised by the Cyprus Presidency of the EU Council on Tuesday 21 April, the EU27 Transport Ministers will discuss the European response to the consequences of the war in Iran on the energy and transport sectors (see EUROPE B13849A3).

According to a Cypriot official, “the focus will be on securing fuel supplies, maintaining connectivity between all modes of transport and preventing fragmented or uncoordinated national responses”.
