European Commission consults on monitoring pollinator diversity and pollinator populations

On Thursday 19 June, the European Commission published its draft delegated regulation laying down a method for monitoring pollinator diversity and pollinator populations in Europe. The project is open to consultation until 17 July. 

This text is backed up by the objective of improving pollinator diversity and reversing the decline in pollinator populations by 2030, which is set out in Article 10(2) of the Nature Restoration Regulation (see EUROPE B13433A2).
