European Commission launches a public consultation on proposed revision of guidelines on State aid for aviation

11/12/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 11 December, the European Commission launched a public consultation on a proposed targeted revision of the 2014 guidelines on State aid to airports and airlines. Interested parties can take part in the consultation until 5 March 2025. Considering the developments in the aviation sector, the extension of the provisions on operating aid adopted in 2023 to take account of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the results of the 2020 fitness...
