Iliana Ivanova returns to her role as European auditor, after brief spell at European Commission

21/11/24 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control has approved the appointment of Iliana Ivanova from Bulgaria as a member of the European Court of Auditors. Before being appointed European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth in September 2023 (see EUROPE B13253A39), Ms Ivanova had already held this position between 2013 and 2023.
