Europe and America have opportunity to work towards common approach on China, say several EU Member States

Following in the footsteps of their leaders, the EU27 trade ministers discussed the future of transatlantic relations in Brussels on Thursday 21 November. All agree that the European Union must adopt a constructive approach with the future American administration. A trade war is the last thing Europe needs. In addition, it must show unity in the face of the potential challenges posed by Donald Trump’s second presidency, which begins next January.
