28/10/24 (Agence Europe) – To mark World Opera Day, the consortium of opera companies and festivals, ‘Opera Europa’, presented its new initiative, ‘Opera Europa Next Generation’ at its conference on 25 October in Turin (Italy). This platform, supported by the Creative Europe programme, will be active from January 2025 and will be dedicated to young opera and dance artists in Europe. Its aim is to train, promote and support 560 artists over a four-year period, offering them on-site and online resources. Opera Europa Next Generation will enable artists to develop their network, acquire skills for the job market and interact with the public.
