EIB supports development of Akagera vaccine in Rwanda

14/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 October, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced a €2 million loan to Akagera Medicines Africa Limited to support the development of early-stage vaccines in Rwanda. This new support will accelerate research and development and the manufacture of new vaccines to treat infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, Lassa fever and Ebola.
