The Court of Justice of the European Union has dismissed the appeals brought by three Italian companies - Ferriera Valsabbia, Valsabbia Investimenti and Alfa Acciai - seeking the annulment of the General Court’s judgments (T-655/19, T-656/19 and T-667/19) and the European Commission’s July 2019 decision(see EUROPE B12289A13) ordering five companies to pay fines totalling €16 million for operating a cartel on the market for concrete reinforcing bars, in a judgment handed down on...
