Oceana calls for more information to be provided on origin of seafood processed in EU

On Thursday 19 September, the NGO Oceana took the view that there was a lack of transparency in the labelling of seafood products in EU countries.

The Oceana organisation, which investigated seafood products sold in supermarkets in Belgium, France and Spain, has called on the European Commission to require more consumer information on processed seafood.
