‘Von der Leyen II’ Commission – European University Association is concerned about separation of education, research and innovation

In a statement published on Thursday 19 September, the European University Association (EUA) reacted to the announcement on 17 September by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, concerning the reorganisation of the Education, Research and Innovation portfolios. These areas, which were grouped under the responsibility of Iliana Ivanova during the 2019-2024 legislature, will now be divided between several Commissioners.
