Commission withdraws previous decisions on merger between Illumina and GRAIL

06/09/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 September, the European Commission decided to withdraw several of its earlier decisions concerning Illumina’s acquisition of GRAIL. This announcement follows the decision by the EU Court of Justice on Tuesday 3 September to annul the Commission’s decision to review the legitimacy of the acquisition under Article 22 of the EU Merger Regulation (see EUROPE B13474A12).
