Over 30s in EU more aware of causes and consequences of climate change than younger people

On Monday 8 July, the European Investment Bank revealed in the sixth edition of its Climate Survey that respondents over the age of 30 in the EU demonstrated a better knowledge of the causes and consequences of climate change than younger generations.

Forty-eight percent of over 30s are aware of the benefits of insulating buildings, compared to 30% of under 30s and 74% of over 30s recognise the importance of recycling products, compared to 66% of younger respondents.
