Rear Admiral Valentino Rinaldi appointed Commander of Operation EUNAVFOR MED IRINI

19/06/24 (Agence Europe) – The ambassadors of the Member States to the EU, meeting within the Political and Military Committee, are due to appoint Rear Admiral Valentino Rinaldi as Commander of the EU military operation in the Mediterranean(EUNAVFOR MED IRINI) from 19 July 2024, according to a document dated 18 June.
