ENTSO-E does not identify any major risk to security of electricity supply in Europe for summer 2024

On 14 June, the European Network of Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E) published its ‘Summer Outlook’ report on seasonal adequacy, assessing Europe's security of electricity supply for the summer of 2024. The report does not identify any major risk of inadequacy, but stresses the need for supervision in Cyprus, Malta and Ireland due to their weak interconnection.
