European chocolate industry requests clarity on implementing Deforestation Regulation

18/06/24 (Agence Europe) – In an open letter sent to President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen on Monday, 17 June, the Association of Chocolate, Biscuit and Confectionery Industries of Europe (CAOBISCO) calls for greater clarity on the Deforestation Regulation (see EUROPE B13404A5), which will apply starting from 2025.
