Mid-June target for G7 agreement on mobilising profits generated by frozen Russian public assets

On Saturday 25 May in Stresa (Italy), the finance ministers of the G7 countries reported “progress” in their discussions on the mobilisation of Russian public assets frozen in their respective countries, pledging to present detailed “options” by the G7 summit from 13 to 15 June in Fasano for providing additional financial support to Ukraine, which is facing Russian military aggression.
